Eviction Notice

A Crimson Warmaul rebuilt without Crimson materials. The durasteel plating and fury alloy that gave the original its armor rating are gone — the rebuilt hull is steel and salvage, and it shows under sustained fire. The five weapon mounts are untouched. This was not considered a difficult trade.

Lore

Five weapon mounts running simultaneously require no further justification. The Crimson Fleet built the Warmaul on this principle and pirates agreed with it completely — the disagreement was only about the supply chain. The durasteel and fury alloy went back to wherever Crimson Fleet sources its materials. The five mounts did not. The rebuilt hull is steel and salvage and takes hits harder for it; the weapons still run without prioritization or compromise. Crimson fleet commanders call the Warmaul the minimum acceptable response to any tactical situation. Pirate commanders call the Eviction Notice the last thing most targets see before the situation is resolved.
