Lore

The Foundation carries an exchange large enough to alter the trade map simply by publishing its next destination. Warehouses and bonded lockers surround a central concourse where brokers arrange contracts weeks ahead of arrival; production tenants reserve space beside the docks that will feed them. During transit the market never closes. Prices move, cargo changes hands, and the Federation's newest commercial district approaches its customers at a patient fraction of an AU per hour.
