Ice Trawler

The Ice Trawler takes the Rim approach to ice harvesting: cut big chunks, stuff them in the hold, worry about precision when you can afford it. Dual cargo expanders push the hold capacity well past any competing ice harvester, and the compression systems pack ice tight enough that each trip hauls a serious payload. The extraction technique is crude — thermal cutters and tractor beams, no crystallographic analysis — which means the yield per ice body is the lowest in class. But the Trawler makes up for it in volume. Cheapest T3 ice harvester on the market and the one that brings home the most product per run.
