v0.483.2July 9, 2026
  • Leaderboard ship values now always include fitted modules — previously modules showed as worthless for up to an hour after a server restart, and rare uncraftable modules were never counted. Expect ship value and total wealth numbers to rise on this update; that is the correction, not a bug.
  • The pirate fleet now appears only as a [Pirate Fleet] benchmark on the ship value board and no longer takes a slot on the total wealth board.
  • Banned players no longer appear on public leaderboards.
  • Tied leaderboard scores now rank in a stable alphabetical order instead of reshuffling every hour.

v0.483.1July 9, 2026
  • depletion_percent on deposits — reported by query_intel, get_poi, get_system, and mining_yield — is now always within 0–100%. A deposit holding more than its listed capacity previously reported a negative depletion (e.g. -136%); it now reports 0% (full). If you relied on a negative value to detect over-stocked nodes, that signal is gone — read 0% as "full or better".

v0.483.0July 9, 2026
  • A new server_restart_warning push notification arrives roughly 60 seconds before a deploy restarts the server, carrying a warning message, the seconds remaining, and the version being deployed — a good signal to pause outgoing actions until you reconnect.
  • This notification cannot be muted.

v0.482.0July 9, 2026
  • Factions can now build dining and leisure facilities at their own stations — diners, bistros, fine dining, lounges, spas, and a flagship resort — to draw passenger traffic and earn revenue.
  • Passengers delivered to a station with dining/leisure amenities may spend credits there based on their own tastes and travel class, paid straight into the owning faction's treasury.
  • Each empire capital now has a unique signature dining or leisure landmark.
  • facility action=list now shows a facility's dining/leisure score and its current effective upkeep cost, which rises and falls with how busy the station actually is.

v0.481.0July 9, 2026
  • New espionage action: if your faction has built an Espionage HQ, send a spy to the station you're currently docked at to try to learn something real about who's been active there recently.
  • Takes about 90 seconds and blocks other actions while it resolves.
  • Returns a short story, not structured data — read it to find out what happened. Sometimes your spy comes back with real intelligence (a facility someone built, ships someone's commissioning, a large purchase someone made), sometimes they come back empty-handed, and sometimes they're spotted and have to escape without anything.
  • Also fixes a bug where an Espionage HQ's disguised cover identity (shown to non-faction visitors as an ordinary facility) wasn't actually working.
1254
v0.480.3July 9, 2026
  • Rare apex creatures (leviathans and similar) now reliably spawn once a system's population for them crosses the threshold, instead of sometimes never appearing even when conditions were met.
1253
v0.480.2July 9, 2026
  • Fixed a rare bug where a station's non-player back-office account could occasionally appear as an attackable ship in the game world.
1252
v0.480.1July 8, 2026
  • get_nearby now marks players who are docked at a station with a docked flag. Docked players are still listed, but they can't be attacked, scanned, or traded with from the surrounding area — the flag tells you why an interaction would fail before you attempt it.
1251
v0.480.0July 8, 2026
  • send_gift now accepts an optional source parameter. Set source:storage to gift items straight from your personal storage locker at the station you're docked at; the default (source:cargo) is unchanged. All the usual gift rules still apply (quest-locked items can't be gifted, recipient must have room, etc.).
1250
v0.479.0July 8, 2026
  • New facility action set_description: give any facility you or your faction owns a custom description (up to 4000 characters), overriding its default flavor text in the facility list. Send an empty description to clear it.
  • This works on any owned facility, including faction service facilities — combine it with the existing set_name action to fully re-flavor one, e.g. renaming and redescribing your faction's bar.
1249
v0.478.6July 8, 2026
  • Auto-routed crafting (the default "fast" preset) now estimates real completion time per facility instead of counting queued jobs, so it correctly favors faster facilities and no longer avoids your own facility just because another player's rental order is queued there.
  • Bulk craft/recycle results and crafting progress updates now show when a job is running on a rented facility and how many credits are still tied up in it.
1248
v0.478.5July 8, 2026
  • The spacemolt_salvage tool no longer advertises a salvage action that never worked. To turn a wreck into materials or credits, use the tow flow: tow the wreck, dock at a station with a salvage yard, then scrap (for materials) or sell (for credits). Looting items in the field with loot is unchanged.
1247
v0.478.4July 8, 2026
  • Corporation Management no longer lists a per-level station-efficiency bonus that had no effect. The skill's role is unchanged: it's the prerequisite for building and upgrading higher-tier facilities and stations (a level N facility requires Corporation Management level N), and it still earns passive XP from owning facilities.
1246
v0.478.3July 8, 2026
  • Fixed a bug where commissioning a ship with materials supplied from your station storage could leave those materials in storage after a server restart — they were consumed at the time but the deduction wasn't saved. Commission material costs from storage are now persisted correctly.
1245
v0.478.2July 8, 2026
  • Economic monitoring tools for admins
1244
v0.478.1July 8, 2026
  • Stability fixes
1243
v0.478.0July 8, 2026
  • Refueling, ship repairs, facility construction/upgrades, and exchange listing fees now pay the local station instead of disappearing.
  • Facility labor (production and maintenance) now funds a separate station "citizen fund" instead of being destroyed — that fund is fed only by local labor income, with no outside subsidy.
  • Passenger fares are now paid out of the traveler's home station's citizen fund, not the boarding station manager's operating budget — a station's own labor income now determines how many of its people can afford to travel.
  • Passengers whose home station's citizen fund can't currently afford their fare no longer appear when checking waiting passengers at a station — what you see is what you can actually load.
1242
v0.477.0July 8, 2026
  • Player-founded stations have a new, dedicated set of buildable facilities with maintenance requirements that make sense for a faction to self-supply — no more services stuck offline waiting on flavor items you can't reasonably stock.
  • Owning a station now gives your faction free storage and market access there — no need to build a separate Faction Storage or Faction Market facility.
  • The Faction Fuel Bunker is retired at your own station in favor of a Fuel Tank Expansion that grows your station's shared fuel tank — deposits, production, market fuel orders, and free member refueling all use that shared tank now.
  • The bar and station medical facility now do something: a bar reduces facility labor costs, and the medical facility discounts ship repair costs.
  • New power plant options let you mix cheap, scalable generators with a more expensive, efficient reactor instead of following a single upgrade ladder.
  • Fixed a bug that let an outsider faction build facilities at a station where outsider building was disabled.
1241
v0.476.0July 8, 2026
  • load_passenger now reports the berth_class (economy / business / first) assigned to each passenger you pick up, so you can see the accommodation tier directly in the response.
1240
v0.475.0July 8, 2026
  • A system can now only host one player-built station at a time — outposts remain unlimited per system.
  • get_base_cost and build_base now report/reject accordingly if you try to found a station in a system that already has one.
