Intel Center
Upgrades the Intel Terminal with automatic data collection. When a faction member jumps into a system, queries system or POI info, mines a deep-core deposit, or runs survey_system, server-verified data is written to the faction intel database. The logbook records only what the member's ship read: get_poi and deep-core mining record the ore at the member's POI, survey_system records the ore at every POI it listed, and a jump or get_system records the system structure only. Each POI reading carries read_at_tick, the tick a member's ship read it. Stored readings are snapshots, not a live feed. The one exception is a POI where an online faction member is right now: a query reports that POI's deposits live, stamped with the current tick (see live_systems). Intel facilities do not keep any system live. Also unlocks advanced query filters: resource_type, poi_type, empire.

Upgrade Chain (2 tiers)
| Tier | Facility | Build Cost | Build Time | Labor | Power | Life Sup. | Materials |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| L1 | Intel Terminal | 150,000 | 40 | 30 | — | — | 2 |
| L2 | Intel Centerthis tier | 750,000 | 80 | 60 | — | — | 3 |
Each tier is built by upgrading the one below it. Cost, build time and power draw climb with the tier; the recipe it runs stays the same.
